This week I’ve been working on a new and exciting project along with a friend and colleague, Jane van Velsen, and the finished product went live on Friday. It’s called The Online Marketing Mix and it’s a community blog that brings together experts from every area of online marketing. The aim of the blog is to offer information, advice and opinion to anyone interested in using online marketing to promote themselves or their business or organisation. We have a core of about a dozen authors who will be blogging over the coming weeks and months on everything from Twitter and email newsletters to vlogging, WordPress and copywriting.
I was tasked with putting together the website and I have to say that I am really chuffed with the end result! It’s given me the opportunity to have a play around with some plugins that I don’t normally use, and I’ve had to get into the code and break/fix bits of it too, which is a great learning opportunity.
I’ve got a few posts on there and will be adding more each month, as will all the other contributors. We’re really keen for visitors to get involved, either by commenting on posts or adding their own.
